Combined Boiler PB- (X) -K

Combined Boiler PB- (X) -K

Steam medium-pressure three-pass boilers for gaseous and liquid fuels with separate flue gas draft for heat recovery.

According to the requirements of the ČSN EN 12 953 standard and the EC Directive 97/23

Construction
The boiler body consists of a cylindrical casing, two reinforced bottoms and is divided into a burner and a flue gas part.

The burner part consists of an asymmetrically mounted flame, a water-cooled reversing chamber and a bundle of second and third draft heat pipes. The front reversing chamber is uncooled, closed by a door allowing cleaning of heating surfaces. The flue gas outlet from the boiler is provided by a smoke collector in the rear part of the boiler. Flue gas outlet through a flue with upper or rear outlet.

The flue gas part consists of a bundle of heat pipes - the number of bundles of heat pipes corresponds to the number of connected sources and their parameters. In the front part of the boiler there is a flue gas chamber with a flue gas inlet, in the rear part of the boiler there is a flue gas chamber with an upper or rear flue gas outlet.

Principle of operation

The flue gas part of the boiler can be used to increase the economy of operation of existing energy sources, eg cogeneration unit, flue gas turbine, waste flue gases from biomass combustion, etc.

The boiler can be operated in simultaneous operation of both parts, ie burner and flue gas, as well as in a separate mode of one of them.

Efficiency

The heat contained in the flue gases leaving the convection part of the boiler can be transferred to the feed water in the flue gas exchanger. The energy obtained in this way increases the efficiency by up to 5% and thus reduces fuel consumption.

Economizer
Complements the basic design of boilers. It is integrated in the flue gas collector or can be placed separately at the flue gas outlet.
Provides highly efficient heat transfer - countercurrent principle. It consists of bundles of ribbed or smooth pipes in the flue, which open into water chambers.

Flue gas bypass
The boiler can be supplemented with a flue gas bypass equipped with a pair of flue gas dampers for uninterrupted operation of the primary flue gas source without the need to run the boiler or as an emergency safety element.

Maintenance
A manhole and inspection holes are used for internal inspection of the boiler. All heating surfaces are easily accessible for cleaning, thus guaranteeing consistently high efficiency.

Design
PB- (X) -K boilers can be supplied in steam, hot water or hot water design.
