The rechargeable, sealed batteries (VRLA – valve-regulated lead-acid batteries) of WEG Critical Power feature the Absorptive Glass Mat System that prevents leaks, allowing its safe operation in any position (except upside down), and two safety valves will automatically actuate whenever the internal pressure exceeds the normal levels.

Its innovative technology minimizes the gas generation, which is combined with an efficiency of 99%, providing maintenance free operation without the need of checking the electrolyte density or adding water all along its useful life, which is of up to five years under normal operating conditions.

They also have a collection and recycling program according to the Brazilian standards for proper environmental disposal ensured to the customers in all cities of Brazil.
