Description

The Strahman Soft Seal Piston Valve is a dead space free reactor outlet valve. When opening, the piston retracts completely into the valve body, which provides an unrestricted flow. In combination with our maximized port sizes, this design offers maximum flow capacity.

This valve series is available with a wide choice of options such as metallurgy, actuators and dead space free connections to vessels. Other possible features are multi-piston positioning for reactor sampling and draining through the same drain outlet.

Typical applications include draining, sampling and injection for powder, slurry and suspension products. The Soft Seal Piston Valve is frequently used in PVC processes.
