The Steinerfilm® I capacitor film is based on the high-quality plastic PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), which is available as a film in thicknesses between 1.2 µm and 12 µm.
PPS capacitors are currently the only commercial film capacitors with an operating temperature of up to 150°C. In addition, PPS is insensitive to aggressive chemicals and radioactive radiation.
