Get the right speed in your channels

In order to handle dust in a smooth and good way, it is required that you have the right balance between bearing capacity on the dust, wear in the ducts and pressure drops over the entire duct stretch. If you enter the gas at too low a speed, the dust will settle to the bottom of the ducts and over time increase the pressure drop or completely clog the duct. If you use too high a speed, you avoid clogging, but get an unreasonably high wear on the channel walls, especially in bends. ITK Envifront has experience and a large knowledge bank with many different types of dust properties that allow us to give you the correct duct dimensioning so that you get safe bearing capacity of the dust while you avoid high wear. We can also calculate the total pressure drop in the system, which is a decisive factor in dimensioning fans in the next step.
