Gebr. Grünewald GmbH & Co. KG

We are a family business that has existed since 1875 and has operated a paper mill at the Kirchhundem-Hofolpe location since the end of the 19th century. All company shares are owned by the Grünewald family. Also in the fourth generation, the company is managed by a member of the owner family.

The heart of our company is formed by the more than 100 employees at GrünewaldPapier, almost all of whom are based in the region. All employees have a proverbial love of paper and a high level of identification with the product and the company. This is also reflected in the average length of service of over 20 years. Cross-generational family members work at GrünewaldPapier not only in the owner family, but also in many employee families.

The majority of our employees have completed their training in our company and more than half have qualifications as paper technologists, as industrial foremen, paper production or as paper engineers.
