1982

With the aim of extending its presence into new markets, Favini creates a division dedicated to the transformation of paper into items for school, office and leisure. Rismaluce, Rismacqua, Palladio and Raffaello, Calligraphy and Block Manager are just some of the most important brands of the Favini paper converting division.

1992

Favini is talking about itself with the introduction on the market of Alga Carta. In the 90s, at the request of the Venice Water Authority, Favini invented a method to re-use the algae that infest the lagoon. Thanks to a special production process patented by Favini, the raw algae are dried, micronized and added to the dough, thus giving life to Alga Carta.

1998

The size of the company doubles with the acquisition of Cartiera di Crusinallo, known for the production of Release and Cast Coated papers.

2008

Favini is acquired by the Orlando Italy Fund which repositions the company in the luxury packaging and release media segments for fashion, design, sport etc.

2009

Launch of the new corporate identity: Favini presents itself to the market with a new logo and a new simple and essential corporate image, which underline the new direction of the company.

Favini acquires a division of Arjo Wiggins becoming the world leader in the release media segment.
