Introduction:

Valmet has secured an order from Sappi Southern Africa to deliver a full EPC package for the replacement of critical recovery boiler components at the Saiccor Mill in South Africa.

The project is designed to resolve key operational challenges by restoring the structural integrity and thermal efficiency of essential recovery boiler components. The upgrade will help ensure continued safe and reliable operations at the Saiccor Mill. Valmet’s extensive site knowledge and proven expertise in managing complex shutdown projects will support the successful execution of the work.

The replacement of critical boiler components is expected to enhance operational safety, minimize the risk of unplanned outages, and improve the mill’s overall reliability and performance.
