Most industrial containers are made from a complex material made up of two or more materials that can be plastic, aluminum and other metallized or paper.
At Toybe we complex packaging materials by lamination, thanks to a uniform gluing that creates a sheet ready to be used in reels or in the making of bags for automatic packaging.
Every year Toybe prints more than 50 million linear meters of reels for flexible packaging of different materials.
Choosing the best material to pack and preserve each product
The key to these materials lies in detecting the packaging needs of the product, correctly diagnosing and selecting or developing the material that meets all the conservation requirements. In addition, it is necessary to make sure that the chosen complex guarantees a good operation in the packaging line .
Types of coils and materials:
- Duplex and triplex complex coils for vertical and horizontal packaging. They are made in complexes of polypropylene, polyester, polyethylene, aluminum and other metallized materials in combinations of two or three laminated layers.
- Barrier materials, special for fresh food preservation
- Complexes for vacuum packaging
- Complex plastic or metallized materials combined with paper (with or without heat-sealable lacquers)
We can also apply different finishes such as varnishes and special treatments: matte, gloss, slippery or non-slip, with a rubbery touch, antibacterial, etc.
Flexographic printing has evolved very quickly. Today we work with very high ruling cliches, which achieve similar quality results to gravure at a lower cost.
