The TECHPAP handsheet dryer allows you to dry handsheets in excellent physical conditions, which are necessary to obtain good physical characteristics and flatness.
The main part of the dryer is its curved heating plate. Heating is done undersides by electric elements over the complete surface. The plate is made of chromed massive copper, thickness 5 mm. This ensures an optimal distribution of the temperature, which is regulated by a controller.
The sheet is pressed on the plate by a stretched felt. The felt tension can be adjusted. This way of drying avoids shrinking of the handsheet which is essential for its flatness and its characteristics.
The dryer is strongly built for intensive use.
