How does the service actually work?
As a rule of thumb, if you can store more than 5 tons of cardboard then you can make money from it, anything much less than that we could possible take for free as the haulage costs would outweigh and value in the recyclables.
Once we have images of the paper, cardboard or plastics you have then we can grade the recycling and offer a rebate, we normally also arrange haulage either through a third party as a backload or on our own fleet of trucks. The waste is weighed in on our weighbridge, then unloaded, sorted and dry stored ready for sending on to a papermill for recycling.
We are ISO9001, and all of the material we collect is dry stored, that means we can offer the best rebates for cardboard, paper and plastic, baled, or loose tipped, with same day collections available. Our Romsey facility offers enough storage for 5000 tonnes of cardboard waste dry stored at any time, meaning we can take huge volumes and offer the best prices due to our relationships with brokers, recycling companies and industry leaders.
