The pumps NBD are intended for hydraulic transport of abrasive hydro mixtures. They could be used for fluids pumping, as far as their parameters and material version satisfy for specific fluid. They could transport slag, cinder, gravel, soil and another solids floating in water. Main using is in power plant systems.
Construction
Hydraulic part consists of volute core, suction cover and impeller. The core is solved, that from head side is closed, from suction side is opened and in assembled position is closed with suction cover, which is used also as pump inlet system. Impeller is radial type, closed with single-sided inlet. It is griped through spire. The pumps NBD having massive mechanical part solved principally different way as pumps NBA and NBV. Bearing pedestal consists of one compact unit, which location is in massive bearing stool. Solving of bearing stool allows slewing of pump discharge according to necessity to different positions. Considerably easily is pump assembly and disassembly. Axial allowance among impeller, suction filler and volute is adjusting in simple way by releasing and tightening the nuts on bearing stool and adjuster bolt. Shaft location is in massive bearings lubricated with fat or oil. Hydraulic space is stuffed with soft packing. Water is transporting from separate source with pipe, which one side is attached to the discharging pump body and another is attached on the main branch pipe.
