Rewinders
This is where the most important phase of converting takes place.
The web is rewound in order to form the log that has the width of the parent reel and the diameter of the final product.
Other important functions carried out by the rewinder are: the perforation of the paper at pre-determined intervals in order to obtain the so-called sheet count in the finished roll; the control of the number of sheets contained in each log; the attainment of the pre-determined log diameter.
