Embossers
The embosser compresses the web between two rolls, one of which is steel and bears a pattern that is transferred through pressure onto the web. The aim of this process is both functional and decorative: the plies can be embossed with a dedicated pattern to yield bulk and softness.
Embossing is also a means for product personalization.
A light film of glue can be added to the embossing process.
