2 Side Coated Paper

2 Side Coated Paper, or simply, Coated Paper, is one of the most generic and wide-ranging sectors of paper – basically it is paper which has a clay-coating on both sides, to enable high quality printing with optimal hold out of the ink and varnish which is applied. This kind of paper can be used for many applications and can range from lightweight coated paper (LWC) of 40-60gsm to heavier products around 80-150gsm and even coated boards too. The surface finish of coated paper is often glossy, matt or silk, although embossed products are possible, but they are much less common. Typical uses range from magazines and high-quality colour printed books to leaflets, flyers, business cards, and many other areas.
