Midwest Converting resides on the south side of Chicago three miles west of Midway Airport. Major highways that feed into this area are I-80, I-90, I-294, and I-94 from the east. I-94, I-294 from the North. I-57 from the south, I-55, I-80, and I-90 from the west.

Chicago has long been at the center of the transportation, distribution and logistics system that moves goods and commodities across the country and the globe. In Chicago, six of the nation’s seven major North American railroads move goods and commodities in and out of the Chicagoland area. It is estimated that between a quarter and a third of all (rail) freight tonnage in the U.S. originates, terminates or passes through the Midwest region.
