MDV Ultrasilver

The Ultrasilver coating of paper, cardboard and foil has opened up new profitable markets for color toner printing technologies, in particular through the use of new toners with unprecedented effects.

White and neon toners in combination with the right software create new possibilities not only for outstanding prints but also for a wide variety of applications.

Ultrasilver is a coated material in which the metal particles are encased in a binder, making the material non-conductive; in this way, the electrographic printing technology can be optimally used. The surfaces feature a beautiful satin silver finish that can be used for very high quality packaging and labels.

MDV offers double-sided coated paper with weights between 125 and 360 g and single-sided coated materials between 120 and 235 g. The 78 g product coated on one side is also available for conversion to a self-adhesive label. This technology is not limited to paper, but is also suitable for PET films, 50 micron, coated on one side for labelling, as well as 100 micron, coated on both sides for high-quality posters.
