Since 1908, KÄMMERER has been producing electric paper. For a long time, paper was the classic cable insulation and was largely replaced by plastic insulation. Today, electric paper is still used in the insulation of underground cables, telecommunications and special power cables and transformers. The paper must have special properties for this purpose (strength, elongation, thickness, purity, electrical resistance, etc.).
Electropapers are produced on our paper machines in thicknesses from 0.065 to 0.140 mm.
