Serrated fold bags (single-seam fold bags) with side gussets are manufactured from rolls. First a tube is formed, which is then cut off and taped around the bottom. These bags are only possible with a short advance. Due to the cutting technology of the machines, the opening is more or less jagged. On the back of the bag you can see a longitudinal seam and the jagged bottom fold. The bottom is pointed.If the adhesive seams or the jagged cut interfere or a longer flap is required, two-seam gusset bags must be used.
