The Hartmann pigging ball valve offers the functions and advantages of the metal-sealed ball valve and, in addition to being used as a shut-off valve, also functions as a loading and unloading station for pigs.

Hartmann pig fittings offer a space- and cost-saving replacement for expensive pig launcher systems. In addition to the classic application as a shut-off valve, the pig ball valve also functions as a loading or removal valve for pigs. A laterally integrated sluice, which is locked and secured by a bayonet system, allows pigs to be fed in or removed easily, quickly and safely.
