Progressing cavity pumps

Progressing cavity pumps

FLUX progressing cavity pumps are suitable for pumping thin to viscous and highly viscous media. The displacement pumps work with little turbulence, at constant pressure and ensure gentle and pulsation-free delivery. While the progressing cavity pumps of the F 550 series are used in the industrial sector, the progressing cavity pumps of the F 560 series are specially designed for the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic sectors. All progressing cavity pumps can be used mobile and stationary, consist of only a few components and are easy to disassemble.

You can choose from our progressing cavity pumps for installation directly in the medium or outside the container, versions with explosion protection, 3A certification and FLUX FOOD pumps (compliant with Regulation (EG) 1935/2004 and FDA CFR 21). When connecting the motor, you can choose between a bearing flange (S) and a gearbox (GS). Barrel emptying systems with progressing cavity pumps are available for conveying particularly viscous and highly viscous media.

Overview of FLUX progressing cavity pumps

The FLUX progressing cavity pumps of the F 550 and F 560 series can be used universally and are available in two types:

  • As an eccentric screw pump for industrial use, type F 550 and as
  • Eccentric screw pump for use in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries Type F 560 .

Both variants are available in the following versions:

  • In the light, handy variant F 550/560 GS with planetary gear, suitable for thin to highly viscous, pasty, abrasive, still free-flowing substances up to 30,000 mPas
  • In the robust bearing flange design F 550/560 S, suitable for thin to highly viscous, pasty, abrasive but still free-flowing substances up to 80,000 mPas
  • As horizontal progressing cavity pumps in TR version for viscous media up to 50,000 mPas
