Barrel pumps
FLUX barrel pumps and container pumps are suitable for pumping various thin, low-viscosity – also particularly aggressive and highly flammable – liquids. Built according to the modular principle, different drum pumps can be operated with the same motor and matching accessories. Due to the low weight of our barrel pumps, they can be easily carried from barrel to barrel. The simple handling of the motor and drum pump also enables short changeover times.
FLUX drum pumps are available as explosion-proof drum pumps, with 3A certification and as FLUX FOOD pumps (compliant with Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 and FDA CFR 21) in high-quality stainless steel.
We also offer a large selection of powerful motors: motors for electric barrel pumps and pneumatic motors for barrel pumps operated by compressed air. For special requirements, we at FLUX also design and implement special adaptations, custom-made products and custom designs.
Fields of application of the FLUX barrel pumps
Drum pumps for smaller filling quantities with JUNIORFLUX/COMBIFLUX as, for example, laboratory pumps
The small drum pumps are particularly suitable for filling comparatively small quantities from containers such as canisters up to 200 l drums or IBCs.
Barrel pumps for a wide range of applications and liquids (series 400)
In various designs for eg acids, alkalis, fuels (petrol, diesel), oils, chemicals, water as well as media from pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food and much more.
Barrel pumps for detergents and disinfectants
In stainless steel and polypropylene for pumping and dosing detergents and disinfectants.
Barrel pumps for hazardous areas
For combustible and highly flammable media, maximum safety based on tradition. The explosion-proof FLUX barrel pumps have been tested by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) and certified with the EC type examination certificate in conformity with the ATEX directive 94/9/EG or 2014/34/EU and in accordance with DIN EN 13463 .
Barrel pumps for the FOOD/food sector
The FLUX FOOD series meets the latest European safety standards for food contact. They conform to Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 and the "Plastics" Regulation (EU) 10/2011 and may bear the glass fork symbol. Our pumps are also FDA and 3A certified.
For pre-assembled pump sets
Pre-assembled barrel pump sets are ideal for quick use and consist of a pump, motor, hose line, pump nozzle and barrel screw connection.
