The BORSIG scratch cooler is usually delivered as a complete system. This keeps on-site installation work to a minimum.

BORSIG Process Heat Exchanger GmbH supplies scraper coolers for any desired throughput and heat output, e.g. B. in the inner tube diameters 6 inches, 8 inches, 10 inches and 12 inches.
The design and calculation can be based on the national standards applicable at the installation site. Due to the special construction of our scratch cooler, the maintenance intervals could be extended. In addition, no relubrication of the roller bearings is required within this period.
Scrape coolers are designed for outdoor installation and therefore do not require a special building to protect them from the elements.
Scrape coolers with direct evaporation of a refrigerant in the shell of the double-tube elements can be supplied as cascade, thermosyphon or forced circulation systems, which enable the use of all common types of refrigerant.
Before leaving our factories, each scraped surface heat exchanger is subjected to a mechanical test run at operating pressure.
All the instructions required for proper installation, commissioning, service and maintenance are included in an instruction manual supplied with each scraper.
