WHO ARE WE?

“Universal Engineering Corporation (UEC)” came into existence in a small way in 1970 and gradually developed into a strong team of designers, manufacturers and suppliers of “Precision Testing Instruments” mainly for testing the properties of Pulp, Paper and Paper Board for Paper, Conversion and Allied Industries. It grew its capabilities so tremendously that today it occupies the status of a globally recognized company for these instruments, both in Domestic and Export Market.

UEC is committed to the Total Quality Management principles i.e. adhering to a continuous review and improvement based on the performance feedback from customers and production shops while simultaneously keeping pace with the developing trends elsewhere. It has also achieved the international recognition of its quality systems through securing of ISO-9001. UEC has the relevant preventive maintenance and calibration services to assist the industry in meeting their future requirements.

The unit has adequate and elaborate facilities for design, manufacture, testing and calibration of all instruments for pulp and paper industry and in-fact it is fully geared-up for undertaking any similar kind of instrumentation to suit the needs of any industry. The infrastructure comprises all requisite operations to carry out processes from concept to commissioning including intensive calibration in our own labs well equipped with standard calibrated instruments / equipments as per the National and International Test Norms. The unit is equipped with highly skilled, and experienced manpower to meet the present day requirements and to respond rapidly to future opportunities. UEC designers, development engineers, production engineers marketing and field service personnels have one common overriding objective i.e. to upgrade and Improve the design, production and testing technology to help, develop and maintain the quality of our products on a continuous basis.

UEC believes primarily in customer’s satisfaction through rigorous quality assurance systems to ensure the right and the best quality at all stages along with providing of maintenance and calibration services so as to eliminate or reduce the equipment failure and mal-operation to the minimum.
