Poona Couplings Pvt. Ltd. (PCPL) began as a Joint Venture between Mr Ashok Mulye (founder) and Holset Engineering Company Limited, United Kingdom in 1984. Holset Engineering Co. Ltd. UK (Wholly owned subsidiary of Cummins USA) was then looking to enter the Indian market to manufacture its entire range of couplings. This was the opportunity that a young Executive Vice President of Cummins India was looking for.

We pride ourselves in developing innovative solutions for difficult problems and have a wide range of Engineered to Order products. We design, manufacture and export couplings across all continents to suit various applications and segments. Our fail-safe products are suitable for all industrial applications and power transmissions (electric and diesel drive). Since inception we have manufactured more than 800,000 products for various applications.
