Ox Industries was founded in 1996 as Ox Paper Tube & Core. We started with a handful of employees, all with roots in the paper tube and core industry. From the beginning, the quality of Ox Paper Tube & Core products earned Ox a place as a top manufacturer and supplier of paper tubes and cores for a variety of industries. Over the past 25 years, Ox has grown and expanded its reach and product offering. Ox has multiple mills and converting facilities across the United States with nearly 500 employees.
Halltown Paperboard Mill Acquired
In 2007 Ox acquired Halltown Paper Mill in Halltown, WV. The Halltown Paper Mill has been in continuous operation since 1869. Upon purchase of the mill, Ox became the first independently owned, vertically integrated supplier and manufacturer of 100% recycled paper products. Ox has control over the quality, efficiency, and cost by producing the paper that is sent to our converting facilities.

At Ox, we have generations of papermakers working at our mills: grandfathers, fathers and sons, and extended families aunts, uncles, and cousins. Papermaking gets in your blood and becomes part of your DNA.
The mill workers are astute in their trade mechanically inclined and solution-oriented. Many have entered the industry to spend their entire careers producing a quality paper product, teaching others the skills of the trade, and leading teams through the process.
