It’s unlikely that anyone in 1962 could have guessed that a fledgling family business named Morrisette Paper Company might expand into the over 200-employee strong international company that it is today. Today we are larger, spread across several states and multiple countries. We have staying power; tenacity is in our blood. In the earliest days of our company, our founders – Bill and Nancy Morrisette – made a covenant to not allow failure to get a foothold, even when there were grim times. They were of the Greatest Generation, children of the Depression. They were flexible, resilient, intelligent, driven, and charismatic. We hold strong to their values and sentiments as we continue to grow, acquire, and flourish under the guise of our founding principles. As the third generation comes into the business, our future looks brighter than ever. We are determined to beat the third generation odds and keep this business profitable for many years to come not because we have to, but because we want to. We are a family, after all.
