History

A legacy started back in 1966, by the Late Shantilal Chapsi Chheda, one of the founders and the pioneer in wooden pallet manufacturing in India. Mr. Chheda was a man of vision and perseverance; whose success came from his deep understanding of market requisite and his total commitment to his business.

Back in the 1960s, a turbulent decade had seen a sea change in the business. The conventional methods of logistics and handling the freight were turning redundant. The use of cranes and humans, then, led to the mishandling of goods. This struck an idea of introducing wooden pallets, a refined way to handle logistics. He dared to take an unprecedented business stride; Jaywood Pallet Mfg Co., that was started about a half-century ago is now India's largest wooden pallet manufacturer and Jayant Packing Industry, one of the leading traders of wooden pallets and packaging products like wooden boxes, wooden crates, packaging boxes, dunnage airbags, CP pallets and many more.
