When the famous Kaufhaus des Westens (KaDeWe) opened its doors to the public for the first time in Berlin in 1907, a traditional company also started in Pfungstadt. The Seidel Brothers factory, founded by Otto Seidel and his son Walter. Initially, Seidel supplied printers and the fine paper trade with high-quality gummed paper.

Later, Seidel began to specialize more and more in the manufacture of gummed papers, from which today's product focus arose. These adhesive tapes based on kraft paper with wet or hotmelt coating can be used in a variety of ways and are popular in the corrugated board industry. Today, Seidel is an experienced and competent supplier in this field.
