In 1973, the company Garant Maschinenhandel GmbH was founded by Windmöller & Hölscher, a market leader in the areas of printing, processing and extrusion machinery for the packaging industry. GARANT first dealt specifically with the topic of used machines; These are professionally revised, brought back to a modern technical standard and resold. We have always offered this service internationally - including transport, installation, commissioning and training.

At its origin, the business of Garant Maschinenhandel GmbH is based on the durability of Windmöller & Hölscher machines. The sturdy frame, the solid construction and the proven reliability of the material made it obvious that there had to be a market for used machinery of this quality.

In order to make it possible to present and overhaul machines in an appropriate environment, the current plant was built in 1990 and expanded in 1994 and 2007. Since GARANT has proven its capabilities and success in this field, W & H decided to transfer the sale, development and technical and parts service of some new machines under its license to GARANT.
