Fiskeby is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of packaging board

Fiskeby was founded in Norrköping in 1637 as one of Europe's first manufacturers of paper. Today, we are the only one in Scandinavia to manufacture packaging board from 100% recycled fiber. Our product is called Multiboard.

For us, it's not just about what we do, but also about how we do it. The earth gives us the resources we need to develop our strong packaging board and transport it across the continent. To ensure that we protect these resources for future generations, we approach our production in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.

The production of Multiboard is based on cycles. By utilizing the strongest fiber in cardboard packaging that has been used once, we save the earth's resources and energy. Recycling provides clear environmental benefits and is fully in line with today's requirements for sustainability. To further reduce our environmental impact, we use renewable energy. We are self-sufficient in steam and produce up to 30% of our electricity needs on our own during normal production. From 2015, we also have our own biogas plant that purifies the factory's wastewater.
