Extrapack OOD is a leading Bulgarian manufacturer of bags and packaging

The company EXTRAPACK OOD was established in 1995 by five young and enterprising Bulgarians with the goal of becoming the best manufacturer of bags and packaging in Bulgaria. They have since become leaders in the Bulgarian packaging industry but still strive today to continually improve quality and enrich the EXTRAPACK OOD product portfolio.

Since its inception, Extrapack has repeatedly increased production capacity and expanded its distribution network among all major Bulgarian cities. The company continues to reinvest the main portion of its profits into qualified staff and high-tech equipment.

Extrapack built and began operation at its first modern factory, in Spring of 2001. It is located in the western industrial zone of the town of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.

Trade office and warehouse are located in Sofia, Bulgaria at an outpost founded in 2004.

At the end of 2009, Extrapack launched a second factory near Veliko Tarnovo where the company is headquartered.

At the end of 2016 and started operation the third Extrapack's factory, which produces nonwoven spunbond and meltblown polypropylene fabrics, found applications in many areas of industry.

As of 2016, more than 700 people are employed at Extrapack, and over 65% of the company’s production is exported to customers in Western Europe.

Maintaining high product quality and an active stance on the ecological aspects of packaging are a priority for Extrapack’s management.

Extrapack is certified to meet a number of international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000:2006, FSC® and others.

The company is a member of the Bulgarian Industrial Association, the Bulgarian Association "Polymers"and Sourcing.BG.
