BM&M Screening Solutions Ltd. is an international manufacturer of high-speed, high-capacity gyratory screens. We specialize in providing custom-built high-speed gyratory screening solutions for all dry bulk material industries worldwide. We have more than 50 years of proven performance from equipment in the field, and our equipment continues to outperform vibratory screens and gyro-reciprocating screens in demanding applications.

Compared to other screening technology, high-speed, high-capacity gyratory screens are the most efficient at what they do, and efficiency means that our machines can save users time and money.

Tom Humphrey realized this when he started BM&M in 1968. An innovator and world class engineer, he designed and patented the original high-speed gyratory screen drive, the heart of each of our machines. Tom lived in Burnaby, located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, and so named his company Burnaby Machine and Mill. As the company has evolved, its name evolved as well, to BM&M Screening Solutions Ltd.

From the Canadian Forest Products Industry to Worldwide Success

Our first gyratory screens were designed for the forest products industry, which in the late ‘60s was growing by leaps and bounds in British Columbia and elsewhere throughout Canada. The performance improvements our technology provided for forestry industry customers was enough to catch the eye of companies in numerous other industries, starting with grain import/export and expanding into markets all around the world.

In 2008, it was time for BM&M to expand, and we broke ground on a brand new facility. In 2009, we moved to our present headquarters and main manufacturing facility in Surrey, BC, about an hour’s drive from Vancouver International Airport. We also operate licensed manufacturing facilities in The Netherlands and Australia.         

Over the years we have grown into a large corporation that serves customers worldwide in the feed, grain, wood, and mineral industries, among others. We provide customized gyratory screening solutions that are unique to each industry and to each customer.
