Introduction

Valmet will supply an IntelliTissue 1600 tissue machine to PT Suparma Tbk’s mill in Surabaya, Indonesia.

Features

The order includes a complete tissue production line with stock preparation equipment. The new line will operate with an IntelliTissue 1600 machine fitted with an IntelliJet V headbox, Crescent Former, IntelliPress, IntelliYankee dryer, Exhaust Cap hood and an IntelliReel section.

The scope also covers mechanical and electrical drives, the Valmet DNA system with Machine Control, Distributed Control and Quality Control functions, a dust removal system and other supporting systems for the line. The installation is expected to increase PT Suparma Tbk’s production capacity by 26,500 tonnes of tissue paper per year.

The new line will support the production of high-quality tissue products for the Asia Pacific conuty, with start-up planned for 2026.
