Introduction:

Koro Viet Nam Tissue Paper Joint Stock Company has awarded international technology group ANDRITZ a contract to supply two tissue production lines for its plant in Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. This investment supports the company’s entry into the tissue market.

Features:

The new lines, TM5 and TM6, are designed for efficient and high-speed production of premium toilet, napkin, handkerchief, and facial tissue. Each line will have a paper width of 3,650 mm and a maximum operating speed of 1,650 m/min, with a daily design capacity of 104.2 tonnes.

The lines will process pre-dried virgin pulp to produce tissue with a basis weight ranging from 11.5 to 32.0 g/m².

ANDRITZ’s scope of supply includes complete stock preparation with a PrimeRefine HC T high-consistency refining system, approach flow, fibre recovery, and broke systems, along with two PrimeLineCOMPACT M 1600 tissue machines and full automation.

These technologies are designed to reduce long-fibre consumption and energy use, while improving operational efficiency and maintaining consistent paper quality.
