LASER DIE CREATION

When created by hand, die-making can be expensive and time consuming. Our laser die-making system changes all of that, affording our customers dies at low cost, with a quick turn around, and absolute precision.

Using the same digital CAD (Computer Aided Design) file from your carton’s structural design, this digital file now directs a focused laser beam as it burns the rule lines into the die-board. It also controls the automatic bending of the metal rule to ensure a perfect fit into the rule line slots in the die-board.

THE RESULT? What used to take several days, can now be accomplished in only a few hours! Plus, our customers get a more accurate product in the end. Our precision die-boards fit into the best die-cutting equipment in the industry – BOBST. Having an in-house die-making system gives us both an economic, and time saving, advantage.
