The heat-shrinkable tubes in fluorocarbon resins are now generally used in all those industrial applications where the need for non-stick and temperature, as well as concentration of chemical products are added. Obviously and given the wide range of diameters, these pipes are widely used both for curved expanding cylinders and for other types of cylinders (steel-alloys-rubber coatings, etc.). Currently the two types of pipes used are identified in the abbreviations FEP and PFA due to their differences in both product and thermal resistance.
