The operation of a modern industrial plant would be almost impossible without automation and control systems. Safe, efficient plant operation requires that thousands of process variables be controlled within specified limits. Most companies simply don’t have the manpower to run all of the required tests and make the necessary adjustments.

That’s why Solenis offers a suite of advanced controllers that allow for the automation of chemical treatment programs in complex industrial environments. Technologies include knowledge-based controllers (KBC), which incorporate an extensive library of programmed responses to known system upsets, and performance-based controllers (PBC), which use advanced sensor technology to measure actual program performance and provide feedback or feed forward control to maintain desired results. These controllers combine hardware and proprietary software into one complete package and employ patented algorithms incorporated in the software to turn the controller into an intelligent machine capable of maintaining optimal chemical feed rates, anticipating system upsets and implementing corrective actions.
