RSC's
Oak Distribution keeps over 1600 sizes of stock corrugated boxes in inventory. We carry all of the most popular corrugated box styles including RSCs.
RSCs (Regular Slotted Containers) are the most common box style and can be used for most products. The outer flaps of an RSC meet at the center of the box when folded and can be sealed using tape, glue, or staples. Like other corrugated box styles, RSCs are measured length x width x depth (height).
While RSCs are typically used for shipping and storage, they are designed in a way that makes them suitable for almost any packaging application.
Common specifications for RSCs include:
•Flute or corrugation type (C flute being common for RSCs)
•Board color (typically Kraft or #3 White)
•Board strength, measured in bursting test or Edge Crush Test (ECT). Oak Distribution's stock RSCs and other corrugated box styles are made to the bursting test specification. 200# test is the most common board strength for our stock cartons, which provides a stronger box compared to 32 ECT (edge crush test) boxes.
In addition to stock corrugated boxes, Oak Distribution can offer custom RSCs in any size with the option of custom printing through our sheet plant, AMD Container and Display.
