MTR Martco’s Roll Service Center is fully equipped and staffed to rebuild and regrind rolls and roll cores as well as make virtually any repair you might need to stay running and on schedule.

To make sure we can turn even the biggest jobs around quickly, MTR Martco has two Farrel, two-wheel, roll grinders capable of grinding rolls up to 38” in diameter and 256” long. Both are Equipped with belt-grinding attachments and variable-crown roll driving units.

MTR Martco has special expertise in grinding crowned, concave and controlled crown rolls using a computerized caliper to verify a rolls profile. Following the refurbishing or rebuild, a full precision inspection is done and a detailed report showing the actual contour and T.I.R. for each of the ground surfaces is prepared. The report and its specifications are delivered to you along with the finished roll.

When it comes to getting your rolls to MTR Martco’s Service Center quickly and safely, you won’t find yourself at the mercy of a common carrier. If you’re within 500 miles of our Service Center, we will send our own trucks to pick up rolls and also deliver them to you after they are refurbished.
