IOC CREASING

For inline perforating and cutting in sheet-fed offset printing presses, the anvil cylinder is covered with a suitable protective film or plate. If you’re cutting and creasing, you’ll also need to use a thin rubber creasing strip as a die plate in the creasing section on the anvil. The strip, which is roughly 30 mm wide, offers enough scope for easy, fast positioning and even in-process correction.

The material is highly regenerative and so there’s no need to replace the rubber strip even when the die is moved. If you’re simply creasing or stamping, Kocher+Beck supplies creasing rubber in strips or sheets which are pre-laminated on a base film. This means you can dispense with the self-adhesive protective film for the anvil cylinder.
