The FoilMaster air drying hood is designed to allow a good cross direction air flow as well as high air velocity up to 50 m/s. It is primarily used in combination with Ircon Infra-Red Dryers. It consists of an insulated stainless steel plenum and a number of Ircon overpressure foil nozzles. The foil nozzles are specially designed to allow best possible cross direction air flow as well as high air velocity. The nozzles are made of extruded anodised aluminium segments. Between the foils there is an exhaust air section. The FoilMaster is using air from a steam processed heat exchanger or can be provided with preheated air from the Infra-Red exhaust air fan. FoilMaster is providing a drying capacity of up to 30 kg H2O/m²/h.
