Combined saddle-binding and perfect binding systems, SB-4 & SB-5

The Smart-binder models SB-4 and SB-5 include an additional in-line 'perfect-binder', either the

  • '1-clamp' PB600B (with max output speed of 400 books/hr)
    or the
  • '5-clamp' PB-1500W (max output speed 1500 books/hr)

which enables the system to produce not only saddle-bound booklets up to 10mm thick , but also perfect-bound books up to 60mm thick (with the PB-600B) or up to 70m thick (with the PB-1500W) using either hot-melt or PUR glue.
