Caligo flue gas scrubbers

Caligo scrubber technology is based on modularity. All of our scrubbers have two modules: a scrubber module and a water treatment module. There is a washing zone inside the scrubber module and, depending on the model, one or two heat recovery zones through which flue gases are led.

The condensate is led to the upper part of the water treatment module, which works as a clarifier that separates most of the solid content from the water. From there the water is gravitationally filtered in a sand filter situated under the clarifier. The filter sand is backwashed automatically with the purified condensate and the dirty washing water is led back to the clarifier.

Our product range includes four different scrubber and water treatment products. The letter X in the product code indicates the size of the boiler in megawatts.
