Disposable Car Mats

Dempson has launched a new range of disposable car mats for the automotive industry. Made from crepe-effect paper in single sheets, the mats may also be personalised, with the addition of a logo or marketing message.The new car mats are produced by a subsidiary company of Dempson, Fleurwrap, which specialises in the manufacture and supply of printed rolls for the floristry industry. The new car mats utilise the existing printing and paper converting expertise of Fleurwrap, enabling Dempson to diversify, offering a new product range as a result of the different application of existing technology.Paul Laskey, sales and marketing director of Dempson explained, “We identified a demand for these disposable car mats as a result of requests from existing customers supplying other product lines to their customers within the automotive industry. We quickly realised we had both the expertise and the technology already within the group in the Fleurwrap business to not only manufacture a suitable disposable mat, but also to print onto it.”This flexible printing service enables businesses of all sizes, including independent car dealers and valet servicing businesses, to keep their business in the forefront of their customer’s mind with the simple addition of a logo, thank you or marketing message.
