Technical features

DIP MEL papers are classified according to the following characteristics:1. Weight: from 60 to 80 g / m2;2. Height: 1230,1310,1560,1620,1850,1870,1960 and 2210 mm;3. Roll diameter: from 450 to 650 mm with an internal core diameter of 150 mm;4. Reel length: from 850 linear meters;5. Sheet length: from 1300 to 4350 mm.

The paper produced is supplied in sheets or rolls.

Categories and Features

DIP MEL papers are divided into the following categories:1. DIP MEL AA: Single-bathroom melamine papers;2.  DIP MEL AG: bispalmate melamine papers (mixed-urea).

The chemical-physical characteristics of these papers are:1. Resistance to scratching or Scratch variable from 2.0 to 3.0 N (level 5 of the UNI 9428: 1989 standard);2. Abrasion resistance variable from 80 to 120 Taber medium point revolutions (level 3 of the UNI 9115: 1987 standard);3. Initial weight determined by the initial starting card;4. Final weight can vary from 100 to 120 g / m2 more than the initial one;5. Resistance to light higher than 6 on the blue scale (EN ISO 4892-1 and 4892-2 standards);

DIP MEL papers are classified in category E1, i.e. with low formaldehyde content. DIP MEL papers do not contain heavy metals, according to dir. UE83 / 467EEC and 76 / 769EEC.

Packaging and storage indications and methods

The life of DIP MEL papers is 3 months if stored correctly, i.e. in its original packaging in suitable environmental conditions (relative humidity 55 - 60% and temperature 10 - 25 ° C).
