INSULATED COIL SECTIONS

Commercial Coils’ insulated coil sections are a complete unit that is a convenient way to install chilled water and DX coils in duct mounted applications.  The coil is mounted in a fully insulated housing with an integral drain pan and comes with flanges that make it easy to mount up to ductwork.  The housing, the coil, as well as the drain, are available in many different material options.  Other options include double wall construction, filter racks, and indoor or outdoor applications.

Insulated Coil Sections

• 16-gage galvanized sheetmetal housing (unpainted)
• 1”/1 ½ lbs. sq. ft. insulation open face (not exposed to air stream)
• Panel access to the headers and return bends
• 16-gage galvanized drain pan with mastic coating (stainless steel drain pan is available as an option)
• 1” FPT drain coupling in drain pan
• Offset fin pack to maximize performance and drainage
• 1 ½ inch duct flanges on entering and leaving air side of coil housing
• 6” connection stub outs on all coil models
• Sloped drain pan
