B SERIES

The “B series – Flexi Blade” patented design has revolutionized the fan industry:

• drastic reduction of vibration induced by the fan to mechanical equipment and installed structure;
• avoiding possible resonance conditions, even when a VFD is applied;
• reduction of stress on the fan blade, allowing a more competitive fan model selection.

Series B (“Flexi blade”) adjustable pitch fans are available in diameters from 5ft up to 20 ft (6.7 m) in eight different blade profiles. Both clockwise and counter clockwise configurations are available in standard and reverse mounting types.The flexible connection between the blades (either extruded aluminium or pultruded FRP) and hub is made using a special high tensile steel element. Compared to similar products in the market which use rubber connection components, this design is not affected by severe ambient conditions and requires minimum maintenance or replacement activities.The B hub is available in three different sizes, depending on the fan diameter and number of blades. Connection to the driving shaft can be provided through either a cylindrical bore or tapered bushing.
