Metric Pitches T2.5, T5, T10, T20, AT3, AT5, AT10 and AT20 are available in different tooth gap configurations:

  • Standard pulley tooth gap
  • Reduced pulley tooth gap “SE”
  • Zero pulley tooth gap “0”

Selecting a special pulley tooth gap can increase the accuracy of the timing belt system by decreasing or eliminating “play” between the timing belt and the pulley. Linear drives and systems requiring precise positioning, high repeatability, or fast settling times can benefit from reduced “play”.
