Climate change is already in full swing and has become a key issue in our society that affects us all. It took many decades for an awareness of this to arise worldwide. Looking at the climatic changes on our planet, the causes seem familiar. The focus is in particular on the combustion of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas. According to scientific findings, the resulting gas carbon dioxide (CO2) is primarily responsible for the rise in mean global temperature. But there are other extremely climate-damaging substances that have been released into the environment through human influence for decades - for a long time uncontrolled.
